FIRST TEAM TRAIL TOURNAMENT JUNE 11TH AT SAVANNA

MCKNIGHT WINS STATE TOURNAMENT

Mike McKnight, a member of Elite Anglers of Iowa bass club, won the IBN Spring State Tournament this past weekend on Lake Okoboji.  Mike had a two day total of 26.86 pounds on 6 fish.  He anchored it with a 6.87# fish on day 1 that took Big Bass of the tournament.  Second place was Mark Moorman with 26.28#s.

TOP 3 Co Anglers

Isiah Minton Wins Co Angler Division at Spring State Tournament. Isiah pictured far right is a member of the Eastern Iowa High School bass club.  He had a two day 6 fish weight of 21.28#s.  2nd place Dennis Sellers middle had 19.30#s, and 3rd place finisher Clay Torson far left, also a member of Eastern Iowa High School bass club, had 19.29#s.  Shows what a great job Shanda Heath does overseeing this High School club that lands two members in the top three.

Along with winner McKnight are Mark Moorman 2nd place center, and far right is 3rd place Nate Brown with 25.43#s.  When we were last at Okoboji two years ago Nate was the winner.  Congratulation guys!

COFFMAN ON TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Kyle Coffman finished the Lake Guntersville Regional as the top Iowa Team non boater and earned himself a trip to the National Championship in October.

VANCE BACK TO NATIONALS

IBN State Team member and Casey's Pro Staffer Greg Vance will be returning to the National Championship for the second year in a row.

TEAM TRAIL BASICS

The four Team Trail tournaments are OPEN tournaments.  You sign up with your partner. Yearly Team Trail membership $30 an angler($10 if IBN member)

Entry fee per tournament per team $120     80% plus payback.    Casey's Big Bass per tourney Wins $500

Year end points based on all 4 tournaments(NO Drops).  May use 1 alternate, but can use alternate more than once but has to be same alternate.  That alternate may be used at Championship if he has fished one of the four tournaments with you.

1 Team per 40 guys signed up qualify for BASSMASTER TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP!  (last year 2 teams went)  One man from these circuits will make it to the BASSMASTER CLASSIC!

OTHER TOURNAMENTS

SPRING AND FALL STATE QUALIFIERS

Must belong to an Iowa  Bass Nation Club to fish these.  Year end points from these two tournaments will determine 10 Boaters and 10 Non boaters that will go on to Regional Competition as our State Team.

Entry Fee $200 for both tournies combined for Boaters, and $150 for both tournies for Co Anglers.

THEN THE 10K

10K is an Open Buddy Tournament paying $10,000 First Place.   $250 per team if paid by deadline.
