Our Chamber contact Mary Seely did a lot of work for us leading up to this event, and even drove one of the two golf carts they provided.  They shuttled anglers and fish from the boats to our scales.  Thanks Mary!

Bellendier on to Nationals

Jordan Bellendier finished as the top Iowa Team Boater and 4th overall out of the 190 boaters from 19 States at Lake of the Ozarks Regional April 5-7th.  The finish qualifies him for Nationals and a chance to make it to "The Show"

Wilson to Nationals

5 Iowa Co Anglers made the final day cut at Regionals.  Brian Wilson started that final day behind 3 team mates, but came from behind to punch his ticket to Nationals.  4 Iowa Co Anglers finished in the Top 18, and the Iowa Team finished 6th out of the 19 States!

TOURNAMENT INFO

2017 IBN TEAM TRAIL

This year there will be 2 Divisions with 2 tournaments in each Division.  The top points team from each division will qualify to go on to BASSMASTER TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP.  IBN will pay half of each teams $500 entry fee to the BTC.  If total of 50 different teams fish at least one tournament, then we will pay both teams $500 entry to the BTC (they will receive $500 after they fish BTC).

Entry fee per tournament per team $120  Yearly $10 membership to Bassmaster Team Trail per angler required(we collect,goes to B.A.S.S.), and $10 per TEAM (goes to IBN)

 80% plus payback.     Casey's Big Bass per tourney Wins $250 gauranteed

Year end points based on both tournaments in your division. 

LAKES DIVISION

OTHER TOURNAMENTS

SPRING AND FALL STATE QUALIFIERS

Must belong to an Iowa  Bass Nation Club to fish these.  Year end points from these two tournaments will determine 10 Boaters and 10 Non boaters that will go on to Regional Competition as our State Team.

Entry Fee $200 for both tournies combined for Boaters, and $150 for both tournies for Co Anglers.

THEN THE 10K

10K is an Open Buddy Tournament paying $10,000 First Place.   $250 per team if paid by deadline.

FALL STATE TOP 3 BOATERS

Greg Vance (center) won the IBN Fall State Tournament out of PDC.  Dan Mohn (left) got second place and Kevin Andera (right) was 3rd.  Mohn also wrapped up AOTY honors for 2016 IBN season.  Congratulations guys!

Pat Soppe of Manchester won the Co Anglers Division at the IBN Fall State Tournament.  Jerry Duncklee (not pictured) finished 2nd, and Tony Puelz (right) finished in third place.

TOP 3 Co Anglers

Isiah Minton Wins Co Angler Division at Spring State Tournament. Isiah pictured far right is a member of the Eastern Iowa High School bass club.  He had a two day 6 fish weight of 21.28#s.  2nd place Dennis Sellers middle had 19.30#s, and 3rd place finisher Clay Torson far left, also a member of Eastern Iowa High School bass club, had 19.29#s.  Shows what a great job Shanda Heath does overseeing this High School club that lands two members in the top three.

Top Three Boaters at Spring State

Along with winner McKnight are Mark Moorman 2nd place center, and far right is 3rd place Nate Brown with 25.43#s.  When we were last at Okoboji two years ago Nate was the winner.  Congratulation guys!

EAI President Dan Hamdorf only brought 3 in on this day, but they averaged over 4#s each.  Thanks Dan for lining up the EAI club to go to State.
