    2023 Tentative Tourney Schedule Pending permit approvals, below is the 2022 tournament schedule for the Iowa Bass Nation and Team Trail events. Mark your calendars now. IA Bass Seminar Jan 28th,2023 Iowa Bass Nation is sponsoring a presentation on Large Mouth bass movements on the upper Mississippi River. Iowa DNR Biologist, Scott Gritter will be present with this study. I have been told this is well worth attending by several bass clubs in Iowa. Location Dixon IA, Legion at 1PM. Asking all to donate $5.00 and this donation will be presented to Friends Of Pool 9, for conservation projects. IBN State Tournament May 10th -12th at PDC Washington Ramp SPRO FROG ONLY Tournament July 29th Lansing Village Creek Ramp 10K August 12th Washington St Ramp in PDC Team Trail Events June 17th-Lansing village creek June 18th-Harpers Ferry city ramp Sept 30th-Spirit Lake Oct 1st- Okoboji Lake Notes From The President Fall is here: Most have changed our focus to deer, ducks, and pheasants now. I would like to wish IBN anglers, Tanner Bock and Matt Goltz luck representing Iowa at the Nation National Championship on Pickwick Lake. Marshal and Mark Halverson are the IBN team champs and will compete in December on Lake Hartwell. Mark Folsom is the BFL Great Lakes non-boater champ. Austin Brimeyer, Ron Cherkas, Tanner Bock, Jordan Bellendier all qualified for the BFL regional in the Great Lake divison, Congrats and best of luck at regional. Jacob Malony and Cam Ingle were the No Nonsense points champs for 2022 in a very competitive field, Team Trail this year has changed to back to back tournaments. This was at the request of the anglers to cut travel costs. One team for every 20 teams qualify for the team championship. Win at the Championship and you are in the Bassmaster Classic. November we will have our annual rep meeting. Anglers can email or text me suggestions to improve our IBN tournaments. 2022 was a tough year for the IBN staff with the loss of Jim "Sully" and Kari Sullivan. We are planning on having a celebration in 2023 late winter. It will be announced on social media. Nation is a global network of locally organized clubs whose members participate in and support a range of activities.
